I aim to celebrate some of the soul in architecture and nature.

In 1983 I went back to school, at age 33.

Seven years later I emerged from Princeton with a master's degree in architecture.  I actually did it!

Ever since then – for 30 years – I’ve been making renderings of Modernist buildings and, to me, mystically engaging Nature.

On purpose I try to make the architecture pictures crisp, clean and Modern, and the ones about nature more impressionistic.

I look to portray buildings and landscapes from unusual perspectives that hope to shed light on overlooked aspects of their presence.

Sometimes I give them imaginary colors that I think illuminate some part of their character.

I’ll once in a while show them in contexts that have long since been erased, or that I’ve invented, but that seem to me relevant to their original intent.

I push my nature fotos into the realm of abstract impressionism, trying to share some of the spiritual sustenance that I find out there.
